Smart DCA — Trend Continuation

How it decides

• ✓Enters long when a set number of consecutive bullish candles confirm momentum, with the signal candle closing above a chosen share of its body and above the previous candles.
• ✓If price drops after the first entry, adds further entries at fixed or custom price-drop percentages, sized by quantity or by value, so the position is accumulated at lower prices instead of bought at once.
• ✓Lowers the take-profit as the average price falls (average purchase price management), and checks the account balance before every entry so it never buys more than the capital allows.
• ✓Closes at a fixed percentage above the average price or with a trailing target; an optional stop-loss at a percentage below the average price limits the loss.
• ✓Spot and long-only: no leverage. Every entry and exit is an alert with the fields a third-party bot needs for automation.

Every input is exposed in the settings panel on the chart, so the strategy can be matched to your own risk tolerance.

• ✓Entry signal: consecutive bullish candles, close threshold, candles to compare
• ✓DCA mode (by quantity or by value) and the number of pyramid entries
• ✓Fixed or custom price-drop percentages for each extra entry
• ✓Average purchase price management
• ✓Take-profit (fixed or trailing), stop-loss, and the date range

The published backtest uses one pair and one timeframe. A different combination will behave differently, so test yours in the TradingView strategy tester before you rely on it.
